This 5-day experience is intentionally designed to be unhurried and soulful. Whether you’re sharing quiet moments on the veranda, watching giraffes stroll by, or enjoying a garden dinner under the stars, Kedong Ranch House makes space for both adventure and serenity.

From the moment you arrive, you’ll sense it: time moves differently here. It flows with the rustling of acacia leaves, the lazy arc of vultures overhead, the echo of distant hooves. You’ll have time to breathe, to wander, and to truly arrive.

Safaris from Every Angle

What sets this tour apart is its extraordinary variety of perspectives—designed to help you experience the land and its wildlife in dynamic, meaningful ways:

  • On foot, during guided nature walks where you’ll observe plains game like zebras and antelope in their natural rhythms.
  • On horseback, for a quieter safari across golden grasslands, blending seamlessly into the landscape.
  • By boat, drifting across the shimmering waters of Lake Naivasha, home to hippos, fish eagles, and over 400 bird species.
  • By kayak at sunrise, gliding silently through golden reflections as the Rift Valley awakens.
  • By bike, in the heart of Hell’s Gate National Park, where dramatic cliffs and geothermal landscapes frame encounters with giraffes, buffalos, and gazelles—on two wheels, you’ll feel truly part of the wild.
  • And, of course, by vehicle, during game drives across the vast plains of Kedong Ranch, often with Mount Longonot keeping watch on the horizon.

This multi-perspective approach transforms your journey into a rich tapestry of encounters—each one intimate, immersive, and unforgettable.

A Home in the Wild

At the heart of the experience lies Kedong Ranch House—a warm, welcoming haven thoughtfully designed to complement the landscape. Set within an expansive private estate, the house offers generous indoor and outdoor spaces, ideal for both quiet family moments and romantic escapes. Every detail invites comfort and connection: from the shaded pool and lush gardens to the cozy lounges and al fresco dining under starlit skies.

Whether you’re sipping a sundowner with Mount Longonot glowing in the distance, stargazing around a crackling bonfire, or waking up to birdsong and freshly brewed Kenyan coffee, Kedong Ranch House makes every moment feel personal and profound.

A Landscape of Wonder

The surrounding region is just as remarkable. Towering above it all, Mount Longonot stands like a sentinel of the valley. Those who choose to hike its crater rim are rewarded with panoramic views stretching across Lake Naivasha, volcanic peaks, and endless savannah. The Great Rift Valley’s dramatic geography is not only breathtaking—it’s alive with wildlife: buffalos, giraffes, zebras, elands, antelopes, and wildebeests roam these plains, coexisting peacefully with the rhythms of daily ranch life. In addition to the game on the ranch itself, the highlights of the tour like Crescent Island and Hell’s Gate offer unique walking and biking safaris, allowing for rare close-up encounters with the animals in wide open spaces.

Back at the ranch, afternoons are meant for slow lunches, swimming beneath acacia trees, or simply lying back and watching the clouds drift by.
