See where we're goingFive territories we know road by road. Pick one to see the drive from Nairobi and what Eric would tell you about it.
Each shape is the real height of the ground you cover. Solid line on foot, dotted in the vehicle.

Ranch rides at Kedong with kayaking on Lake Naivasha and cycling in Hell’s Gate.

Up the gentler Sirimon side to Point Lenana at sunrise, down through the Chogoria valleys.

Waterfall walks and a night under the stars at Reedbuck camp.
Six years of trips. Every one built from scratch.
No outsourcing and no hidden costs.
You get drive times we have clocked ourselves and camps we have slept in. If a park is crowded, it is not on your itinerary.
Eric picks every guide himself. They grew up near these parks and know the quiet corners that never make it into a brochure.
No templates and no off-the-shelf packages. We build each day around your pace and what you came to Kenya to see.
Three stories, straight from the people who lived them.
Eric is such an amazing guide! He took such good care of and showed us so much of authentic Kenyan culture. He is thoughtful, fun, and attuned. We even got to meet his parents! I really value learning from him.
I normally never write a review but I have to make an exception here; Eric and Louisa are the best guides you can ask for. They become your friend rather than you being just a client and they will plan the perfect itinerary for you according to your likes. Though I got in touch last minute, Eric and Louisa ensured that I had the most amazing weekend in Kenia with a fully packed action plan; with a boat on Lake Naivasha, a walking safari on Crescent Island, a bike ride through Hell’s gate and a hike in the famous Lion King gorge (day 1), hiking up Mt Longonot and even a horsewalk through the savanna (day 2). All with a private guide, the best tunes in their 4x4, a beautiful stay alongside the lake, and the most beautiful animal spotting throughout!
We had a really exceptional tour with Daring Escapes. Thanks to the excellent guidance of the team we were able to spot lots of different animals in a unique setting and from a close distance. Riding alongside zebras we will never forget.
We plan around your pace, not a fixed package. Change anything before you book.
Eric and Louisa and guides we know by name. Not a call centre.
No bots and no contact forms. You get a person who has been where you are going.
ou have probably had this experience. You ask about a safari and get back one fixed price for a package somebody else designed. You cannot change any of it. You do not know if the person who replied has ever stood in the park you are paying to visit.
We started Daring Escapes because that felt backwards. So we do it the other way round. We ask how you like to travel, then build the days around what you actually want. A slower morning or one more night by the lake. If a day does not feel right, we change it. Nothing is fixed until you say yes.
Your dates and what you are hoping for. WhatsApp or email, whatever suits you.
Eric or Louisa, not a bot. We answer as soon as we can.
A full itinerary, day by day. You help shape the days.
Change anything or ask anything. You only book when it feels right.
When you message Daring Escapes, you get Eric or Louisa. Same two people, start to finish.
Tell us your dates and what you are hoping for. We will get back to you as soon as we can.
